The IPE houses are two houses for two brothers on a 1000m2 plot with a great unevenness towards the sea and the Lagoa das Guarairas.
In a urban area of private houses with a significant scale and volume, they are conceived as two cubes of concrete that frame their views towards the sea while protecting themselves from the noise, the views of the neighbors, and the powerful tropical sunset with their wide concrete walls. The cube deck becomes a huge terrace of the master bedroom with stunning views.
Inside, a patio works as a ventilation chimney, with rooms of the house opening towards the patio by large format Ipe woodframe windows.
A common blue pool connects the gardens.
